The Drivers Behind Every PGA Tour Win in 2025 (up to Sept 14th)

If there’s one thing golfers love debating, it’s which driver is leading the way on Tour. Week in, week out, different players tee it up with different weapons but patterns always start to show. In 2025, we’ve seen plenty of variety: some trusted favourites, some brand-new tech, and a few surprise appearances too.

Let’s take a look at the drivers that have got the job done so far this season on the PGA Tour, including the majors.

Standout Stories from the Season

TaylorMade Qi10 – The driver of the year so far, no doubt. Rory McIlroy used it to win the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, The Players, and crucially the Masters. Add in Scottie Scheffler, who bagged wins at the Byron Nelson, the Memorial, the BMW Championship and The Open with the Qi10 in hand — it’s clear this model has become the most dominant force in golf right now. Powerful, stable, forgiving… and it’s winning everywhere.

Titleist GT Series – Titleist players have mixed between the GT2 and GT3, and both have made a real impact. Ludvig Åberg’s breakthrough Genesis win came with the GT2, while Russell Henley, J.J. Spaun and Kurt Kitayama all lifted trophies with the GT3. Even major glory came via Spaun at the U.S. Open. These drivers offer that classic Titleist blend of precision and control, which explains why they’ve been popular with steady, consistent winners.

PING’s Quiet Consistency – While not the most headline-grabbing, PING drivers continue to deliver. The G430 and G440 LST have popped up multiple times, including Harris English at Torrey Pines, Brian Campbell in Mexico, and Viktor Hovland at Valspar. Solid, reliable, and perfect for players who want a dependable weapon under pressure.

Surprise Cameos – It’s not just the big names. Brian Fox won the Canadian Open with a Srixon ZX, Justin Rose got the job done at the FedEx St Jude with Callaway’s Paradym Ai Smoke, and Min Woo Lee showed off the Elyte Triple Diamond in Houston. Proof that while trends exist, there’s always room for individual preference to shine.

The Big Three of 2025

Number 1. TaylorMade Qi10

Multiple wins across majors and regular tour stops. It’s the clear No.1 of the season so far.

Number 2. Titleist GT3

A driver that combines modern tech with traditional feel, taking home both regular wins and a major.

Number 3. PING G430 LST

Not as flashy, but consistently in bags of players who grind out victories.

Final Word

If this season’s shown us anything, it’s that no single driver wins without the player behind it — but the trends don’t lie either. TaylorMade’s Qi10 has been the weapon of choice for the very best in the world, while Titleist and PING continue to prove why they’re trusted on Tour year after year.

For the rest of us? You don’t need Rory’s swing or Scheffler’s consistency to benefit from the same technology. Whether it’s forgiveness, control, or that extra distance off the tee, the same drivers lighting up the PGA Tour are available pre-owned and ready to go.
