Matt Fitzpatrick Winning Bag | 2022 US Open

Matt Fitzpatrick won his first major championship, finishing the tournament with a score of 274 or, six-under-par, a shot ahead of Scottie Scheffler and Will Zalatoris. The win was also Fitzpatrick's first on the PGA Tour. He had previously won the U.S. Amateur at The Country Club, in 2013, and matched Jack Nicklaus, who won both at Pebble Beach, as the only players to win the U.S. Amateur and U.S. Open on the same course. Zalatoris, who lost in a playoff a month earlier at the PGA Championship, had a 14-foot birdie putt on the 18th green that would have forced a playoff but missed, and had his second consecutive runner-up finish in a major championship.

Fitzpatrick has been back on form recently, could he make a move to win another major? Let’s see what fitzpatrick had in his bag that day:

Bryson DeChambeau also later this month on the 17th is competing alongside Brooks Koepka against Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler in a match dubbed "The Match" which will be a highly contested round of golf which sees the LIV breakaway stars vs the current stars of the PGA in what some might call a grudge match.

High forgiveness: Off‑centre strikes fly straight and long; many testers reported 15–20 yards extra carry compared to older models (like Callaway’s Mavrik Max or PINGs G400 Max) and noted excellent straight‑flight stability.

Fairway Wood: Krank Formula Fire (13˚)

7 Wood: Ping G410

The PING G410 7‑wood is a brilliant option for golfers who want a high-launching, easy-to-hit fairway wood that delivers both distance and forgiveness. Thanks to its low-back centre of gravity and high-density tungsten weighting, it offers impressive stability on off-centre strikes. The shallow face and compact profile make it incredibly playable from the fairway, rough or off the tee.
